Time for another round at the autobahn! The Subaru BRZ is a fantastic car and has been reviewed as one of the best and most fun to drive cars of the year.
Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson recently drove the Toyota version and said - “…hand on heart, this was one of my favourite cars.
It’s not slow — it really isn’t — it’s just that you have to work to get performance from it, but is that a problem? It sounds sweet, is smooth and has the best throttle response of anything here, 911 included.”
The handling on the car is unreal as well which the whole Top Gear crew apparently had nothing but amazing things to say as well.
For anyone who doubts the Subaru and thinks it is a “slow” car this video should prove otherwise.
Watch the 2013 Ford Focus ST and rivals engage in a high-speed game of cat and mouse.
The ST is out to prove that it’s truly a street fighter, even up against cars out of its class.
While many will hold true – such as that the Impreza had better traction where it was standing – you cannot but praise the small Subaru for its ability to free a full size truck towing an even larger and heavier load.

Before we review the FR-S vs. its market competitors, the guys wondered just how similar the FRS/BRZ twins feel behind the wheel.
Some back-to-back time on a racetrack proves very revealing.
At the end of May I got a call from the Subaru dealership telling me my 2013 BRZ Limited had arrived and was ready for me to take delivery. After a grueling 1,000 mile break-in period I was looking forward to see what the car was capable of.
I shipped the car to the Autobahn to do some high speed runs in the car and attempt the top speed.
The car is limited by its aerodynamics unfortunately so I had to get a good stretch which favored the car which allowed me to get up to 147 MPH.
This isn’t very high speed compared to other exotic cars but for a 200HP Subaru I was very impressed seeing what it’s capable of on the top speed spectrum!
For those of you who don’t know this is a rear wheel drive Subaru and the car is fantastic to drive along with drifting ;)

We managed to capture this footage from a few years back in the Targa Newfoundland race. What could have resulted in being a horrific crash, thanks to the safety in place, the lads were able to walk away. Man can it go all wrong in the matter of seconds!
