Mercedes Benz AMG Gold

Mercedes-Benz and its high-performance AMG sub-brand are greeting stars and guests to this year’s Cannes International Film Festival from 16 to 27 May 2012, with a fleet of gold-wrapped vehicles.

The German luxury automaker said it is providing the fleet of shuttle limos and SUVs in gold as a fitting tribute to the awarding of the 65th Palme d’Or (Golden Palm).

In addition to the glistening fleet service, Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division is offering daily test drives throughout the festival, allowing visitors to try out the brand’s various current AMG models along the French Riviera.

Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs: iKutcher

Wearing a black turtleneck, jeans and New Balance sneakers, Ashton Kutcher was spotted in full character as Steve Jobs as he made his way to the set of the late Apple CEO’s biopic in L.A. on Friday.

The 34-year-old “Two and a Half Men” star plays the visionary businessman during his younger years in a movie tentatively titled “Jobs: Get Inspired.”
