Police Academy No7: The Slovakian Edition

This footage was reportedly shot during some of sort of demonstration by the Slovakian Police force, but one that did not go exactly as planned – and that’s probably a huge understatement.

In the staged scene, Slovakian cops driving a Kia Cee’d hatchback and a Nissan X-Trail were chasing a criminal in an old Skoda Favorit. They were supposed to stop in an orderly fashion and sprint out to capture the offender, but instead, the X-Trail crashed into the Cee’d!

To their credit, the police officers continued the show as if nothing happened, though, it looks like the driver will have some explaining to do…

Official: 2013 Kia Pro_Cee’d

The Pro_cee’d follows the introduction of the five-door hatchback and the Sportswagon estate and is anticipated to hit European showroom floors in the first half of 2013.

The new model isn’t simply a three-door version of the regular Cee’d as it sports a different design from the A-pillars and back including a more rakish roofline, heavily pronounced rear fenders, together with new lights and tailgate. In addition, there are new fog lamp surrounds and chrome strips that connect the grille to the lights up front.

On the other hand and aside from the differences in space, the interior revisions seem to be limited to the trim décor of the dashboard and door panels.
