Being a superhero isn’t all fighting crime and concealing your identity, you know?
There’s stuff that happens when the camera isn’t rolling. Spider-man has to brush his teeth, Wonder Woman has to use the little girl’s room, and all the little things you have to deal with on a daily basis, they have to deal with as well. If you want to display a bit of the mundane when it comes to these special crime fighters, Greg Guillemin has you covered.
From Superman digging for gold to Spider-man getting a bit intimate with Mary Jane (we assume it’s Mary Jane, you web-slinging dog you) these prints depict the less flashy side of superheroes.
Nintendo sleeve. I’m an old school gamer geek. Guess it shows. This one is about life. Going from evil at the bottom to good at the top. We all want extra life, don’t we? Done by the fantastic Mina @ Hawk and Sparrows in Malmö, Sweden.

Madame Defarge: “Tell me how long it takes to prepare the earthquake?”
Msr Defarge: “A long time, I suppose,”
Madame Defarge: “But when it is ready, it takes place, and grinds to pieces everything before it. In the meantime, it is always preparing, though it is not seen or heard. That is your consolation. Keep it.”
Via Flickr: STNG as it should have been… Emperor Picard The Magnificent upon his throne, surrounded by his loyal subjects, Princess Troi-Leia (slave girl and fortune teller), Sergeant Buff (Klingon barbarian bodyguard and Sushi chef), Bone Crusher (witch doctor and dungeon mistress), and the fool.
Kinda makes me wish STNG had done a “Mirror Universe” episode!
Built for the SeaLUG LEGO display at Emerald City Comicon (first weekend of March at the Seattle convention center).
