Graphic artist Mike Wrobel likes to draw Game Of Thrones characters set in the 1980s and ’90s, complete with color-saturated clothes befitting pop culture archetypes.
First he released a set which included grunge dude Jon Snow, alternachick Daenerys Targaryen, Sansa Stark by way of Kelly Kapowski, and more. Then we saw his take on popular kid Tyrion Lannister, glam rock Cersei Lannister, and cringe-inducing Theon Greyjoy.
Artist and designer Gerry Judah made this impressive sculpture holding three iconic Porsche cars 35-meters-high in the sky, commissioned by Porsche GB to create the sculpture as a celebration of 50 years of the Porsche 911.
What “Game of Thrones” would have looked like if the action had been set in a contemporary period such as the 80s and 90s?
What if swords, bows, spears and armors had been replaced with some NES guns, bats and tracksuits?
This is a fun project made by John Hughes, imagining all the characters fighting for the throne in a 80/90s grunge/gangsta/hip-hop era.
